Sasso & Co. has an opening for an experienced Graphic Designer in our Atlanta office. The position offers the opportunity to gain experience working with high profile brands across an array of industries, while cultivating creative, critical thinking, and organizational skills. The position requires a sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, leadership, clients and vendors to create visually compelling design that adds value to our clients’ businesses.


Sasso & Co. is looking for an adept Graphic Designer with up-to-date technical competencies who can interpret our clients’ needs, and to design solutions with high visual impact. You will work on a variety of collateral and products, including, but not limited to: brand identity, websites, physical and digital collateral, product packaging, email campaigns, exhibitions, internal design needs, social media assets, etc. You will collaborate with our designers, account team, clients, and vendors. The goal is to effectively capture the essence of the client’s message across various media platforms to contribute to the brand experience and top-line revenues for each client.


  • Concise execution of Creative Director’s vision for internal and external client projects

  • Think critically and creatively to develop compelling design solutions that capture the essence of the client’s creative communication needs

  • Work with a wide range of media and effectively leverage graphic design software

  • Manage changing priorities through organized project management and clear communication, while considering time and budget constraints

  • Be a solution-focused team player, and a brand champion for Sasso & Co.


Design Execution


  • Provide deliverables on-time and in accordance with direction provided from Creative Director, in conjunction with additional details from client and creative brief

  • Ability to capture the essence of the client’s needs and direction – we design for clients, not for ourselves nor for critics

  • Leverage the design brief to thoroughly scope project requirements based on client’s needs and expectations

  • Revise final designs to client’s and Creative Director’s feedback to gain final approval

  • At Creative Director’s discretion, take part in client meetings in a professional manner, demonstrating a clear understanding of your role and the task at hand, as well as a friendly demeanor to the client and a genuine desire to help their business


  • Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software

  • Deliver thorough work, and do what it takes to accomplish project tasks on time

  • Package, organize, and backup file database

  • Take a critical look at final files to ensure all details are captured


  • Cultivate a solid body of work

  • Curate best-in-class work of the agency

  • Collaborate with team on recurring company newsletter creative needs


  • Make quarterly updates to digital portfolios on website

  • Lead sample photography coordination and execution

  • Manage quarterly portfolio updates, and ad hoc maintenance

Art Direction Assistance

  • Take, apply and execute on creative direction on the overarching vision for each project

  • Think creatively and critically to develop new design concepts, perspectives, graphics and layouts

  • Work collaboratively as part of a team with managers, copywriters, designers, photographers, stylists, clients, etc.

  • Pursue continued learning opportunities driven by your curiosity

  • Open mind and able to take and apply critical direction efficiently

General Administration & Project Management

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment, to meet deadlines, and align on shifting priorities

  • Work through challenges with a positive attitude, and be solution focused

  • Schedule project implementation and manage design deliverables within time/budget constraints

Teamwork & Leadership Development

  • Provide project and prioritization guidance to Junior Designers

  • Set an example by being self-motivated and self-driven in accomplishing tasks, seeking feedback, and finding ways to productively add value to the company through your workday

  • Collaborate effectively with the team, going out of your way to provide support, feedback and insight, and working in such a way as to minimize your demands on others

  • Demonstrate concern for the success of Sasso & Co. as a whole, and make a meaningful contribution to the team


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Graphic Design / Arts

  • 2-5 years’ applicable work experience, preferably in an agency or owned-brand setting

  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio of practically applied design work for a brand or clients’ brands (not conceptual work only)

  • Experience working within time-tracking and budget-tracking guardrails

  • Strong work ethic fueled by a positive attitude, self-discipline, and collaboration

  • Ability to manage to changing priorities, deadlines, and direction

  • Critical eye for evolving tastes, trends and styles

  • Embody creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality

  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas in a concise and meaningful way

  • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Sketch, etc.)

  • Highly proficient in all aspects of graphic design

  • Professionalism regarding communication, time management, costs and deadlines
